Design standards-

The design guidelines that are adhered by Rostfrei for the Zincalume Tanks is AS 2304.

AS 2304- AS 2304 is the Australian standard that set out the requirements for the design and construction of bolted steel circular water tanks for the storage of water. This standard also provides guidance on water sources and qualities that influence tank design and construction, together with water conservation measures.

PROCESS & TECHNOLOGY

Zincalume tanks manufacturing and installation include many steps:

Installation Process-
After the material reaches at client site, the installation process takes place. The panels in the rectangular form, are joined together by using nuts and bolts. This assembly is done in a top to bottom ring-wise manner, the panels are stacked horizontally and vertically to form rings. Once the 1st ring is assembled and bolted the roof installation is done with all its accessories. The liner is secured and bolted to the first ring, followed by the standard securing process as per the design. All the nuts are covered with the silicon / PP caps to prevent any type of corrosion arising from N&B. The liquid is stored safely in the liner membrane inside the tank, which is also available in food grade material & NSF 61.
